Trama:
Ralph Hanley, è un professore liceale che ha un incontro ravvicinato del terzo tipo mentre è in gita con i suoi allievi. Gli alieni studiano Ralph e decidono che è un essere umano che vale la pena di premiare. Gli consegnano un costume rosso, con tanto di mantello e logo, che gli conferisce superpoteri e invulnerabilità. Con l'aiuto della fidanzata Pam e dell'agente speciale Maxwell, Ralph decide di impiegare i suoi nuovi poteri per combattere il crimine. Purtroppo però il novello supereroe ha perso il manuale d'istruzioni per il suo costume e questo causerà una serie di disastri legati specialmente ai suoi primi decolli.
